Adding Students

Individual Registration

Navigate to Students

From your classroom view, click the Students tab

Click Add New Student

Enter student information:
  • First Name: Required
  • Last Name: Required
  • Student Goal: Optional motivational goal
  • Starting Balance: Defaults to classroom setting

Save Student

Student is immediately added to your classroom roster with their own secure dashboard access

Bulk Import

For adding entire class rosters quickly:

Use Bulk Add Form

Click Bulk Add Students from the Students page

Fill Multiple Forms

Enter names for multiple students in the quick-add interface

Submit All at Once

All students are created simultaneously with default settings
Bulk add is fastest for roster setup. You can always edit individual student details later.

Student Profile Information

Each student profile includes comprehensive data:
  • Full Name: First and last name
  • Student ID: Unique identifier (auto-generated)
  • Nano ID: Short code for QR access
  • Student Goal: Optional personal motivation
  • Avatar: Visual profile representation

Managing Student Balances

Navigate to Transactions

Click TransactionsAward Points or Deduct Points

Select Students

Choose one or multiple students for bulk operations

Enter Amount and Reason

  • Amount: How much to add/remove
  • Reason: Why (always logged for transparency)
  • Category: Optional classification

Execute Transaction

Student balances update immediately
Always include a reason for transactions - this maintains trust and provides valuable analytics data.

Automatic Earning

Students can earn automatically through:
  • Classroom Jobs: Scheduled payouts (learn more)
  • Achievement Badges: Bonus points for milestones (learn more)

Organize students for targeted rewards or analytics:

  • Organize by ability level
  • Differentiated rewards

Behavioral Groups

  • Different reward systems

Editing Student Information

Click Student Card

From the Students list, click on any student to open their detail view

Select Edit

Click the Edit button in the top right

Update Information

Modify any field:
  • Name (spelling corrections)
  • Goal (update personal motivation)
  • Balance (manual adjustment if needed)

Save Changes

Updates are immediate and logged for your records

Privacy & Security

  • All student data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Access restricted to authorized teachers only
  • Regular security audits and compliance checks

Removing or Archiving Students

Open Student Profile

Navigate to the student you want to remove

Select Archive or Delete

  • Archive: Preserves data but removes from active roster
  • Delete: Permanently removes student and all data

Confirm Action

Confirm the operation - archived students can be restored, deleted students cannot
Deletion is permanent! Use Archive if you might need to restore the student later.
